Fall Activities at King Street

Gr. 4 & 5 Basketball

We will be having an information meeting for students interested in playing after school Basketball this fall/winter on Tuesday Nov. 16th in the gym at 11:55am.

Attention Gr. 4 and 5 Basketball Players

King Street Elementary will be participating in the elementary school basketball league this season. Our teams will play against other local teams after school. An information meeting will take place at school in the next few days. Please listen to the morning announcements for information on the upcoming signup times.

2021 - Elementary Soccer Jamboree Information

We would like to remind all spectators attending the ASDN Elementary Soccer Jamboree on Friday Oct. 29th that they must be double vaccinated now even for outdoor events. All spectators should have proof of vaccination and ID and be prepared to be asked for it. Spectators that are outside of their vehicles are now required to wear a mask and to socially distance.

All Cross-Country uniforms are due back to Mr. Williston by Wednesday Oct. 27th. We will be taking a team picture with our championship banner on Wed. Oct. 27th at 11:25am. Any runners who have not signed the banner can go to the PE office to do so before Wednesday Oct. 27th.

2021 Cross Country - Oct. 18th

We will be having a Cross Country practice today after school until 3:45pm for those students  that can attend. The last ASDN meet is on Wed. Oct. 20th at French Fort Cove (Curling Club side) at 4pm.

The soccer jamboree scheduled for Friday Oct. 15th has been postponed. The new date for the jamboree has not been set.

2021 Cross Country - French Fort Cove Meet

Good news for our runners

 

The last elementary Cross Country Meet is postponed until Wednesday October 20th. We hope to see our biggest turnout of runners for the last meet of the season. Our team is having an incredible season, so let’s end it with some great running at the cove.

Thursday October 14th – King St. School Meet (1pm at King St.) * This meet is only for members of the King St. Cross Country Team

Tuesday October 19th – Rain date for the King St. Meet (1pm start time)

Our team is had an amazing season to date, and we are hoping for our largest turnout of runners for the last two meets of the season.

             Game schedule will go home Monday
 
BOYS - Practice Wednesday after school 3:00 - 4:00
            Game schedule will go home next week.

Basketball

Hey Lions!  Basketball season is here for grades 4 and 5. It will look a little different this year.  Right now, we are just starting practices. 
This week -
*Boys in grade 4 and 5 who are interested in playing have a practice TUESDAY from 3:00 - 4:00
*Girls in grades 4 and 5 who are interested in playing have a practice WEDNESDAY from 3:00 - 4:00
Bring a water bottle and mask.  Please have your drives arranged before you come to school. Pick up is at the main door.
PLEASE NOTE - we do not have our game schedule yet, and practice times may change depending on Gym availability
