We will be having an information meeting for any students in grades 3 to 5 interested in running Cross Country this year on Wednesday Sept. 4th at 11:55am in the gym.

The King Street Cross Country team had its finial meet of the season on out home turf on Thursday October18th. We had 26 runners taking part this season and the following are the top 3 runners in each grade for King Street.

 

Grade 3 Boys: 1st Marcello Lebouthillier, 2nd Brady Gregan,  3rd Jacob Richardson

 

Grade 4 Boys: 1st Colton Guyder, 2nd Wyatt Dunham, 3rd Ryan Allison

 

Grade 5 Boys: 1st Isaac Trevors, 2nd Conan Clancy

 

Grade 3 Girls: 1st Cassidy Cameron, 2nd Nevaeh Norton-Paul

 

Grade 4 Girls: 1st Sarah Williston, 2nd Emma Matheson, 3rd Reese Godfrey

 

Grade 5 Girls: 1st Emily Kingston, 2nd Katherine Wilson, 3rd Launa Davis

The King Street Cross Country team attended the fifth and finial ASD-N meet of the season at MVHS Wednesday October17th. We had 23 runners taking part and had strong results in all 6 races, with 13 runners placing in the top ten. The following are the top 3 runners in each grade for King Street.

 

Grade 3 Boys: Marcello Lebouthillier, Jacob Richardson, Brady Gregan

The King Street Cross Country Team would like to invite you to come and watch our first ever King Street Cross Country Race. Our runners will be racing on Thursday Oct. 18th at 1:35pm. Students, family and friends are asked to line the paved area at the back of the school and runners will be racing through the field.

 

The rain date for this event is Tuesday Oct. 23rd at 12:55pm.

"Wear Your Jersey to School / Work"

 

NBIAA and School Sport Canada are supporting Thursday, November 15th as a national day to show your love and support for sport by wearing a sport jersey to school, work or play. From municipal council chambers to office buildings and classrooms across the nation, we envision a sea of Canadians wearing their hearts on their sleeves on national Jersey Day.

The King Street Cross Country team attended the fourth meet of the season at French Fort Cove on Wednesday October10th. We had 19 runners taking part and had strong results in all 6 races, with 12 runners placing in the top ten. The following are the top 3 runners in each grade for King Street.

Grade 4 Boys: Colton Guyder, Wyatt Dunham, Ryan Allison

The next Cross Country Meet will be on Wednesday Oct. 17th at MVHS. This will be the last District meet of the season.

Cross Country Runners   

 

Max Aitken Academy will be hosting the Elementary Cross Country Meet tomorrow (Oct. 10th) at French Fort Cove. The meet will begin at 4 pm and we are meeting on the curling club side of the cove. Students will be walking over to French Fort Road which is on the other side of the Cove and they will be running back to curling club side which is approximately 1 km. Races will be going in the following order:

 

Grade 5 (boys then girls)

 

Grade 3 (girls then boys)

 

Grade 4 (boys then girls)

 

Runners must check in with one of the coaches before the race/walk through and don’t forget you King Street running uniform.
