Home Learning for January 18

There is lots of snow out there today! I hope you get a chance to get out and enjoy the day!

Start by listening to the readaloud called, "Sneezy the Snowman". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eBXQN7Iv2A

After you are finished watching, please write me a story about a snowman that you built that came alive. Remember that you need to hook your reader with your introduction, give lots of details in the body and then get it all together in the conclusion.

Here are a few videos to help along the way and get you started.

I cannot wait to read all of those stories when we are all back together!

I hope that you still have lots of story ideas to use in the winter writing prompts chart. You should be writing a bit each day!

If you are finished all of the reading sheets and comprehension, here is a link that you can read and complete reading comprehension online. Just choose your grade level and off you go! If you find that to be too difficult, just choose the grade level below.

Next, try to play this game about verbs.

Try even higher numbers like: Count back by 5 from 250-100, count back by 2 from 198-100, count back from 360 to 200 by 5.

I do hope that you have a good day.
