Home Learning Week of April 14^th to 17^th

Listen to a story (daily) from the following websites: https://www.storylineonline.net/ or https://www.getepic.com/sign-in ( for Epic Books follow link provided under the “weblinks” tab enter class code rgr0906 then select child’s name, once a book is chosen from the menu across the top select “Read to Me”)

Read a story (daily) using the website: http://www.kidsa-z.com class password: lionking2 select your child’s name and choose the rabbit symbol. (use weblink)

Writing (once a week) Go on a scavenger hunt in your neighborhood for signs of spring, write about what you saw. Did you see robins, grass, tulips, people wearing lighter clothes, bicycles etc., what do you love about spring? Remember to use capitals, periods and spacing between words. Use some transition words (first, next, after that, later). You may also write on a topic of your choice.

Math continue to practice subtraction facts using the website: https://www.free-training-tutorial.com/subtraction/towncreator/tc-subtraction.html ( select START and on the next page select #’s to practice change from 10 to 20.) (use weblink)                            

Practice any grade two outcome on Splashlearn: https://www.splashlearn.com/  select class then type in class code XTRGYC then select your picture and name. (use weblink)
