Home Learning January 21

Posted: January 21, 2022

Good morning girls and boys!  Today is Friday, January 21, 2022.  We are now finished our second week of home learning.  You have all done a wonderful job.  Yesterday we had a Teams meeting, even though it was a very small group, it was nice to see faces.

Here are the assignments for today.  You can spend some today catching up on work that you may not have not completed this week.

Language Arts:

1. Read for 15-20 minutes.

2.  Writing.  This winter will see the Winter Olympics held in Beijing.  After watching the videos below about the winter Olympics write about what sport you would want to participate in.  Tell about the sport and why you would be interested in it.

3. Finish any reading comprehension sheets from the past weeks.

Math:

1.  Work on the sheet “Fact Family Sheet”.  This relates multiplication and division.  Look at the example given.  Remember, the biggest number will be the product (answer you get when you multiply) and will also be what you begin with when you divide.  You need a big number to begin for division so you can share.

2.  Complete any sheets from the previous weeks that have not been finished.
