Home Learning November 8

Posted: November 8, 2021

Good morning boys and girls! Today is Monday, November 8, and this is a new week of home learning. I hope you all had a great weekend. The weather has been wonderful for playing outside.

Language Arts:

I have set up our class on the website Epic (click the link below). You can sign in as a student and the class code is bmd8858 . Find your name and there is an assignment waiting for you!  If you are not able to do this, continue to read and log for 15-20 minutes.

You can also use the website Storyline Online to listen to books.

Last week you started brainstorming some words related to Remembrance Day. This week you will write an acrostic poem for the word “Remembrance”. Click the link to watch a video about how to write an acrostic poem. You can start a draft copy of your poem (remember not all poems rhyme, this poem doesn’t need to rhyme).

Math:

Log in to Splash Learn. There is a new assignment to complete. Login information:  CKGIYI  glue73

Play from any of the math websites we have used:  ABCya, multiplication.com, or mathplayground.

Click on the links below to learn about telling time. One is a quick video about telling time, and the other is a link to the math text book pages.  If we were in class we would begin working on lesson 2 “Exploring Time” (page 127-131).  This lesson can be worked on over the full week.

**Remember to bring in any work that you have completed at home.
