Writing: Print your name and circle all the vowels in your name.

See if you can say these words slowly and try to figure out what vowel is in the middle of the word: cat, dog, and pig.

Sight words

Practice the words in their word wallet. If they have difficulty with a particular word, go to youtube and Jan Richardson and Jack Hartmann have a song for each word.

In Kindergarten we talk a lot about what comes before or after a number (this can be a difficult concept for some children. If your child is having a difficult time with after a number, then do not work on before yet. We like them to understand what comes after, before introducing what comes before).

Before and after numbers learning video (just do the first part if simply working on after numbers) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M32LZy7-r5M

Here is a song to practice what comes after a number.
