Good morning girls and boys! Today is Friday, January 14, 2022. We made it to the end of the first week, great job everyone! Please note the login information on the sheet in your packs for SplashLearn has a typo…the correct class code is CKGIYI
Language Arts:
1. Study the spelling list. Complete another sheet for the list.
2. For writing today, I would like for you to write about the week of home learning. What were some things you enjoyed and why? What did you find difficult, and how were able to work through it? What are some things you wish were different about home learning? Instead of just answering these questions, write a journal entry. Expand on your ideas.
3. Read for 15-20 minutes. This can be a book of your own choice, or working on the book that was sent home.
4. Listen to a Tumble Book. After listening to the story, use the sheet “Character Comparisons” to describe two characters. Try listening to the story more than once. The first time listen to enjoy the story, the second time listen to really think about how you can fill in the sheet.
5. I have included a cursive writing pack. There are the first four letters (upper and lower case). You can work on these at any time at your own pace.
Math:
1. Work on the sheets “Colorful Fraction Circles” and “Telling Time”.
2. Play the game Toothy that has been loaded to my page. This is a review of fractions.
3. Work on the assignments on SplashLearn if you have not already completed them.

Today would normally be our art class for the week. Go to YouTube and find a craft or “how to” drawing for a penguin. You choose the one you like. Let’s see how many different penguins the class will draw or make!
*Don’t forget to have a look at home learning for Phys.Ed., Music, and even Guidance. There are some great activities available.
Have a great day, Grade 4! As always, if you have any questions, have a grownup send me an email and I’ll do my best to help!
**Remember to bring in any work that you have completed at home.
