I look forward to teaching your child and hope to have a year packed with fun-filled days of learning.
I will be starting to send homework home for your child this week. Each Monday your child will bring home their homework folder with their homework for the week. It should be returned each day. I will collect all homework folders on Friday so I can get it ready again for Monday.
Reading is a very important part of your child’s learning. I hope that you will enjoy reading to them and your child reading to you this year. As well as reading, there will usually be sheets to along with the letters that your child will be learning this week. (encourage them to tell you what sound it makes and do the action). As the year progresses the homework may change some but I will keep you informed.
