Hi folks!
I'm late on the email this week! We have started learning how to tell time. We have a JMH student with us - Mme Lia. She's lovely and has been with us for two weeks. She will come again in May.
Next week is multi-cultural week! Our class has been assigned Nigeria. Students will be learning about this country in class. On Thursday we will have a "Classroom Food Fair". Students are encouraged to bring in a family favourite to share with the class. A bite sized amount will do!
Our class won a PIZZA PARTY! We will plan to have it on Thursday, April 24th.
Some parents were looking for tutors for their children and over the summer. I have the names of two French tutors that are pretty great for those interested.
Mme Andrée-Anne Maillot (she worked at our school last year). She has a facebook page called "Madame A." Madame A. - Your kids need to be more confident in French?... | Facebook.
- Seanna Doucet is wrapping up her Education degree and looking to tutor. 506 625-5746 is her number.
Mme Sandra Couedel is a librarian usually at the Chatham Library who tutors on the side too.
Homework choices: read, Lalilo | Teacher dashboard in English or French (always select "student in school", class code: XZBYHB) or SplashLearn Sign In (always select "at school", class code: QSCIPQ, password: grade19).
All for now!
