Soft Start; Choose an activity

Literacy block:

Reading- listen to a story on tumble books, EPIC, storyline online, or read a book that you have at home.

Journal writing- After listening or reading a book, write about your favourite part of the book. Why was it your favourite part?

Brain Break- Dress warm and get outside for some fresh air! Little chilly out there today! 

Numeracy Block:

• In the learning packet choose any two Math sheets to work on.

• Math Riddle: Email me your answer, and I will write your name down on a ticket for a prize when we return! I am an odd number. I am less than 99. I have 8 tens and 5 ones. What am I?

Word Work:

• Squiggle Park – 20 mins
• In learning packet- choose a reading comprehension sheet. Read the story and complete the questions to go with it.
