Wow! I can't believe we are at the end of our school year!

Have a safe and happy summer! I will see you all next year!

Hi everyone! I hope you all enjoyed the wonderful weather last week! Our theme for the last two weeks of home learning will be, Outdoors.  Just like Brad, in the picture below, you will be learning outdoors.  You will complete some outdoor scavenger hunts for math and writing, and have a picnic with your stuffies for reading.  Of course you can continue with Kids a-z reading and Dreambox Math if you choose.

I hope you all get a chance to enjoy these lessons. Please send me some pictures to share. Have fun!! I miss you all!

Thank you to everyone for keeping up with home learning. Your efforts are not going unoticed!

If you are interested in doing some outdoor activities with your children, check out the Virtual Olympics, happening from May 25-29 and June 1-5.  You can get more information and a link to register on the KSE website homepage.

I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend, and enjoyed the sun!

Hi parents/caregivers:

Just a reminder to check the documents tab on this site for easy access to home learning files, and copies of letters sent to you.

This 'news feed' may get a little busy as I continue to add pictures of your sweet little angels.

It is so nice to see photos of them!

The format for the homework continues to be the same, however, the new tips are in bold print.

Please reach out for any advice or support as we continue to navigate our way through this "new normal."

Have a great week, and stay safe.

I miss you all!

Mr. Williston wants to know what you’ve been up to.

Please email him (ralph.williston@nbed.nb.ca) some pictures or videos of you taking part in his PE Home Learning activities. With your permission he will add these to the King Street PE Teacher page so everyone can see how active you have been.

Thanks and keep moving

Dear Parents,

Even though we had to maintain social distance from family and friends, I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. The most important thing is staying safe and healthy.

This week I am posting the homework documents in two formats, PDF and word doc. This should give you options in opening the files, just choose the format that works best for you.  The content in both documents is the same.

You can find the documents by scrolling down on this page or clicking on the 'documents' tab above.

Again, if you have any concerns please email me at sherilynn.mcfarlane@nbed.nb.ca

Have a wonderful and safe week.

Dear Parents,

If any of you are having problems with links or websites, please do not stress out. You can always find a different way to cover the topic that we are working on.  For example, if the math link we provided is not working for you, you can look at our topic, addition/subraction facts to 18, and search for a different game, or even create your own.  Don't forget, if you have any concerns you can email me at sherilynn.mcfarlane@nbed.nb.ca

Please note:

  • writing assignments do not have to be passed in.
  • kidsa-z.com teacher username is: smcfarlane2
  • Please find the instructions in the word document entitled: parent information - read first. Scroll down to find it.

The most important thing is to make learning fun! :) ♥
