I sent a memo home on Wednesday with information for the black light show. It had a part for you to fill out and detach to send back to me so I know whether your child can make it to the night show or not. please send that back asap. I am also requesting that you send their black light clothes in as well. That way they wil already be at the school for the practice on Wednesday. Please put them in a bag with their name on it.

I would like to take my class outside a little more than they would typically be out to do some classes in nature. Please ensure that they wear the appropriate footwear to go outside. It's been a little chillier than usual. If you send it, I will make sure they wear it!

Thanks for your continued support!

We have phys. ed every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Students are expected to change into gym clothes in grade 5. Deodorant use is also recommended. Please do not send Axe spray of any type please as it is a scent free building (and it gives me migraines). Thank you for your support.

As everyone already knows, the weather is getting quite a bit cooler outside. I would like to take my students outside for some exploratory time. I can't take them out if they are not dressed appropriately. I hauled out my beast of a winter coat already!! I also have my mitts and toque at school, just in case!!  We want to enjoy our time outside!!

I hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable weekend. I just want to let parents know that your little darlings may be going home a little more tired this week than usual. Monday is the day we begin to speak French ONLY, except for Math, Music and Phys. Ed. As you are probably all aware of, students get a "café" card each time they say a sentence in French, specifically when we are doing our morning routine. I will be taking them away each time they speak English from here on out. They got to make the list of what they are able to "buy" with their cafés (the s is silent), therefore they have a lot of incentive to speak French. They are also all very bright too, so I know the ability is there as well...given they put some effort into it.

Thank you for all of your continued support!!

Have a great week!

Please remind your child(ren) that the school is a scent free environment. A lot of people have sensitivities to perfumes, body sprays and colognes, so we ask that they are not worn in school. Thank you for your support with this.
