ASDN & King St. Elementary Cross Country 2020 – Rules and regulations

ASDN Elementary Cross Country will look considerably different this year due to COVID. The plan is that each participating school will have a race organized at the school the week of September 28th. Schools will map out a 1 KM route at their school and run a race for both boys and girls for all 3 grade levels (Grades 3, 4 and 5). The school will submit the times of all participants to the ASDN sports supervisor. Ribbons will be distributed to the top 10 runners for each grade level for both boys and girls and sent to the participating schools. Each school will then send the top 3 runners from each grade level for both boys and girls to a live (District) race on October 7th at a location TBA. The top 10 runners will receive ribbons at the live race for each grade level for both boys and girls. We will then have a second school based virtual race the week of October 12 followed by another live (District) race on Wednesday October 21st. The same procedure will be followed as the first school based and live races.
