Home Learning for the week of April 6th to 9th
Listen to a story from the following websites: https://www.storylineonline.net/ or
https://www.getepic.com/sign-in ( for Epic Books follow link provided under the “weblinks” tab enter class code rgr0906 select child’s name, once a book is chosen from the menu across the top select “Read to Me”)
Read a storyusing the website: http://www.kidsa-z.com class password: lionking2 select your child’s name and choose the rabbit symbol. (use weblink)
Writing Write about what you are enjoying about being home (watchingyourfavourite TV shows, gaming, sleeping in, playing with your toys etc.) and what do you miss about being at school (friends, staff, cafeteria etc.) You could choose to write on a topic of your choosing if you prefer. Be sure to start each sentence with a capital, use a period at the end of a sentence and leave spaces between your words.) Try to write at least ten sentences.
Math Practice addition facts 0to 18 using the website: https://www.mathplayground.com/ASB_AlienAddition.html (use weblink)
Practice subtraction facts 0 to 18 using the website: https://www.free-training-tutorial.com/subtraction/towncreator/tc-subtraction.html ( select START and on the next page select #’s to practice change from 10 to 20.) (use weblink)
Practice counting by 2’s to 100 then 100 to 0 by 2’s
Practice counting by 2’s to 100 starting at 1 (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 etc.)
Play outside and look for signs of spring.
