1.Students have received their French level books. Please make sure they read every night in French for 15 minutes.

2. Library days: Please make sure your child returns their school library books every Monday.

3. Gym day: Ou class has gym every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please make sure your child has an extra change of clothes.

4. Meet the teacher Wed. Sept. 20th @6:30

5. No school for students Friday Sept. 22.

Terry Fox walk will be Monday Sept. 25th.

Students had a great first week of school. We are starting our routines and they even made new friends. What a great bunch of kiddos!

Soccer news: Please not there will be no soccer practice tomorrow. Practice will be next week. Please make sure your child brings their soccer slip by tomorrow if they would like to join.

*Students had a great first few days of school. We are all ajusting to routine and making new friends. Every month, our class will receice a reward if they accumulate 20 points. They are already working hard toward their end of month prize. :)

Students had fun looking for rocks. They are learning to identify them and learning about the 3 types of rocks.

1. lecture 15 min. (Please make sure your child reads in French every night) I will be testing them in the next 2 weeks.

2. Math: We are currently working on bar graphs and pictograms.

3. Grade 5 Banquet and Award day: Thursday June 8th

Congratulations to our class. They won an ice cream party for the spell-a-thon that will be provided by the school. We will have it next Tuesday June 13th.

2. Library: Reminder to bring school library books back every Monday. We will be walking to the Chatham Library this Wed. May 17th.

3. Math: In math we are adding and subtracting decimals if you would like to practice with your child. There will be a quiz Thursday.
