1. lecture 15 min (Remember to also read on the website Je lis, je lis or on Tumble books if your child forgot his/her level book at school)

2. Math: continue to practice math facts and students can play math games on the websites I gave them on the yellow sheet.

3. French Litteracy: We are currently working on litteracy circles in French and book reports.

Social Studies/Science: Students are also continuing to work on their Canada brochure project. They are also loving learning about rocks and minerals. We will soon be going outside to explore rocks, minerals and earth. Soon, we are going to clean up our school grounds for Earth Day, since we didn't get a chance to go outside yet. Just waiting for Mr. Golden Sun to show up! :)

Please remember if your child did not pre-order the special meal for tomorrow, to bring a lunch. The cafeteria will only be serving the special meal (cold plate $7) and snacks.

Wow! We are already in the month of April! Hope everyone had a great Easter! Here is what's going on this week.

1. lecture 15 min (guided level books)

2. Math: we are still working on fractions. Decimals are coming up!

3. Social Studies: Students will be learning/exploring about our beautiful Country;provinces and capitals, Landscapes of Canada etc.

Students are currently working of First Nations projects as well. Stay tuned for pictures. 

*** This Friday I will be purchasing ingredients to make a poutine. The cafeteria has agreed to make it for us. Since most student's and I love poutines, I've decided to celebrate National Poutine Day (April 11) this Friday April 9th. Walter is currently working on making a video about the French culture behind the poutine and where it came from. ;)
