We went for an art walk around Chatham - saw the library mural, Mandela mural at Creative Grounds, gave thank you cards to houses that make our house beautiful and picked up leaves and acorns for next week's art project. Have a great sleep!

  • Guided Reading Books: please read their book each night. Don't forget to bring it back!
  • Review Sight words: make it fun! Hide them around the living room to find, write them in the driveway to bike and read, say in strange voices, make a video of them reading the words, read word then do # of jumping jacks/pushups etc that there are letters, etc. If you need another copy, please let me know.
  • Math game: Students have a Math addition game to teach you with BOTH their hands. Challenge accepted!

*UPDATE: students are already progressing in their reading. The learning curve is incredible in a second language. We are 100% all day and students are doing well.*
