This is the last week of Home Learning! This was the craziest school year to date, and certainly was not how we planned it to be. I was sad that we did not get to finish our year together, but I am SO proud of all your hard work boys and girls. And to all the parents, grandparents, guardians, and anyone who helped my students in any way, I say "thank you". Thank you for your support over the past months. Thank you for your patience and understanding during a time when all of this was new to everyone. And thank you most of all for taking the time to guide your child and help continue their education.
I will miss you.
Stop in and visit me in September! Have a safe and happy summer vacation!

I hope you had a great weekend. I spent the weekend camping and I even got to see a few King Street students who were also camping at the campground!
We are going to change up the home learning for the next few weeks. Students can choose one activity a day from the Reading, Writing and Math choice board. The choice boards are below. You might spend a couple days working on your writing choice. Please continue to work on learning new sight words, Raz-Kids reading, and Splash learn math. * Read or listen to a non-fiction book about your favourite animal. If you do not have a non-fiction book you can find lots on youtube. Just search non-fiction book about the animal you chose. Draw a picture and write one new thing you learned about the animal.
Remember to sound out the words you do not know and put your spaces between the words and use your sight words to help!

If your child is having trouble with any of the sight words they can build the word with playdoh, rainbow write it (print the word tracing it in many different colored crayons), print them in the driveway with chalk or cut the letters out and practice building the word and mess it up and build it again.
