As everyone already knows, the weather is getting quite a bit cooler outside. I would like to take my students outside for some exploratory time. I can't take them out if they are not dressed appropriately. I hauled out my beast of a winter coat already!! I also have my mitts and toque at school, just in case!! We want to enjoy our time outside!!

I hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable weekend. I just want to let parents know that your little darlings may be going home a little more tired this week than usual. Monday is the day we begin to speak French ONLY, except for Math, Music and Phys. Ed. As you are probably all aware of, students get a "café" card each time they say a sentence in French, specifically when we are doing our morning routine. I will be taking them away each time they speak English from here on out. They got to make the list of what they are able to "buy" with their cafés (the s is silent), therefore they have a lot of incentive to speak French. They are also all very bright too, so I know the ability is there as well...given they put some effort into it.
Thank you for all of your continued support!!
Have a great week!

Please remind your child(ren) that the school is a scent free environment. A lot of people have sensitivities to perfumes, body sprays and colognes, so we ask that they are not worn in school. Thank you for your support with this.

If you're seeing this, please send me an email at natalie.richardson@nbed.nb.ca and I will give your child(ren) an extra "café" card! Ask them what the "café" card is and how they earn them.
