without counting them one by one.

Try these fun games online to practice subitizing:

https://toytheater.com/five-frame/

https://www.nctm.org/Classroom-Resources/Illuminations/Interactives/Five-Frame/

Practice your cutting skills! Have an adult draw some lines and shapes onto

a piece of paper and then practice cutting them out. Try to cut along the lines.

Have a great day!

I hope the learning from home is going well. I am really looking forward to getting back to my classroom for some in-person learning with my little ones!

Please continue to have your child use the dry erase markers and sheets in the plastic page protectors to practice printing their letters, numbers, and their name. The sight word games that I sent home in the Home Links duo tang are a great way to practice the kindergarten sight words. The games are fun and educational at the same time!

Please do not feel that you must do everything that has been suggested. These are just some ideas that may help you with home learning. Do the best you can! I really appreciate every effort! :)

It is supposed to be a nice day today, so I hope you get a chance to go outside and have some fun and enjoy the fresh air!

Please email me at mailto:natalie.corcoran@nbed.nb.ca to let me know how your child is doing with their home learning.

Thank you for all you are doing!
