*OUR CLASS NEEDS EMPTY TISSUE BOXES FOR OUR ART PROJECT FRIDAY.  WE NEED 5 MORE.*

  • Reading Log - green calendar to have title and parent signature each night (M-Th)
  • Weekly Show What You Know to be signed and returned by Tuesday
  • Gym Clothes for Wed, Thurs & Friday

More things to keep in mind:

  • Online Cafeteria orders have stopped.  Bring money!  Teacher orders "hot meal" by 9am.  If you want one, let me know!
  • Skating is starting up.  We will be going 5x this year.  Start gathering your skates and skating helmets... note to be sent home this week with dates etc.
  • Our Artifact Museum was a huge success!  Keep an eye for our next adventure.

Our day began with Peter Mitchell coming into our class.  A very patient man, he answered many MANY questions from the students.  This afternoon was our big Artifact Museum.  We are so very lucky to live in such a great community where people take part in teaching our students.  A MASSIVE thank...

Have a wonderfully relaxing long weekend.  Here are a few pictures of our Art class today - turkey decorating!  Students had two choices - toilet paper tube turkeys or vegetable turkeys.

On Thursday, Oct 5th our class spear headed an archeological dig site.  With metal detectors in hand we dug up the grounds!  Thank you to all helping hands.  Don't forget, our "live museum" is on Friday, October 13th @12:25pm. We will have some of the more intact goods on display.

Our class and 5 Glazier got together to do a project on RESPECT.  This was our first group project of many this year.  Students made posters for the hallway about respecting themselves, others, nature and animals (among some).
