Today (Wednesday, May 12th) we ate the snow peas we have been growing in our classroom. Students were pumped to have grown and eaten their snow peas.

Tomorrow, Thursday May 13th, we will be making tasty treats with some of our dill. Students will be tasting a speacial treat of dill pickle dip with a few chips AND popcorn with dill seasoning. Containers and spoons have been asked to be brought from home. Hopefully you'll get a taste too!

Thanks for all the support on our outing today. We had a fabulous time! It did get a little messy. I apologize for any lost paint brushes or ruined clothes. On the plus, we did manage to paint 12 bird houses, 3 bat boxes and 5 plant lighting stands! A HUGE thank you goes out to Mr Hembrough and our Tommy family.

We have special permission to go to JMH on Wednesday morning for approximately 1 hour. We will be painting bird houses. Please have your child dress accordingly.

Our classroom snow peas are beginning to bloom. Ask your child how their plant is growing and what they've noticed for changes. Hopefully we will have some taste tests!

Multiplication is going well and we are reviewing 3 digit addition and subtraction with regrouping. Feel free to review at home too. It's crazy important this is solidified. We are now on to x3 and they have a strategy to solve. Examples of what we have been covering in Math will be sent home on Tuesday, as well as their March/April writing example.

As walways, if you ever have any questions or concerns, feel free to shout out!

Thank you so very much for all the goodies and treat this week (and throughout the year). The "class cash", homemade gifts/cards/crafts/pictures, chocolat, sharpies, dry erase markers, glue etc etc are very much appreciated and will be put to good use! You sure know how to spoil a Mme!

We are trying to collect a few items as a class for the Food Bank. In particular they are looking for toiletries, baby food and canned meat but any non-parishable food or gift cards are great!

Also, our class will be going cross country skiing on TUESDAY, FEB 16th in the afternoon. Change of clothes, proper winter gear and an extra snack is encouraged.
