Good morning!

This is our last day of Home Learning!!!  I will see all of you back at school on Monday morning!! I am so excited to have us all back in the classroom together!!

Please bring back all learning packets and especially any books that you may have at home that belong to the classroom.

Say a BIG  "Thank You"  to whoever was helping you these past three weeks while learning at home. You all made a great effort to get as much reading, writing, and math done as possible.  Great Job!

I have also uploaded the "Problem of the Week" from Mrs. Buggie (our Math Mentor/Lead).  Enjoy!

Have an awesome weekend and see you all on Monday!

Good morning everyone!

Today is Thursday and it is a very cold morning outside. Can you think of a different adjective to use to describe what it is like outside this morning?  I used the word "cold".

I received another notification from Epic Books and WOW you are all doing an amazing job reading!  Keep up the great work!

Have a wonderful day and stay warm!

Good morning!

I hope everyone had a great night's sleep and are ready for another day of learning from home.  We are supposed to get some snow today.  I wonder how much and whether it will be "snowman making" snow!

Today we will take a little break from "adding and subtracting" and work on using a calendar to measure time. Do you know the name of the months of the year? or How many months and days we have in one year?

Have a great day learning!

Hello everyone!

Today is Thursday! I sent an email yesterday afternoon about a new home learning packet that is ready to be picked up at the school tomorrow Friday, January 21st from 10:00am - 2:30pm at Door B.  However, if you can not get there between those times just email me and we can make an alternate pick up arrangement.  I ask that at this time can you please return any completed work so that I will be able to have a look at it.

Thank you so much. Have a great day!

Good morning everyone!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! It was super cold on Saturday and we are supposed to get more snow today! Do you like to get outside and enjoy this winter weather or do you like to stay cozy inside? I enjoy doing a little of both!

This week we are still working through the learning packet and on-line using websites. In Math we are working on addition (2 and 3 digit) with and without regrouping. I believe some of you may still be finishing your novel study.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns:  kelly.macdonald2@nbed.nb.ca

Let's have another great week of home learning!

Good morning grade 3!

It's Friday and we have finished our first week of home learning! You should be very proud of your hard work. It is not easy trying to work at home when you want to be at school, but your are all doing awesome! Keep up the great work!!

Today can be used as a "catch-up" day. I did put a new math sheet to do and some warm up problems but for the rest you can finish anything that you may not have had a chance to do this week.  It is also our "Art" day and it's a great day to get outside in the snow.

Did you check out the STEM activities? You may enjoy trying one of these if you want.

Have a great day!

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all doing well with the home learning packet and the online activities. Don't forget that if you have any questions you can reach me by email at anytime. (kelly.macdonald2@nbed.nb.ca).

I think the weather is supposed to warm up today so you might be able to get outside for some physical activity.

Have a great day!

Good morning!

It certainly is another very chilly morning outside today. I hope you all had a good day yesterday and were able to complete some math and literacy activities. If you were wondering...I placed the yellow notebook/scribbler in the learning packet so students would have a place to do their work. They can use it to complete the warmup problems or to do their writing assignments. If you wish to use something else feel free to do so.

Try to get some exercise and fresh air outside during the day.  I went for a walk in the woods behind my house last evening. It was chilly but the fresh air felt great!

Have a great day!

Welcome back everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful and exciting Christmas Holiday.  This is not the way I was hoping to welcome you all back to school. I really wish I could see all your faces and hear all your stories about your break. Hopefully we will get to do that in a couple of weeks.

Well once again we are doing Home Learning.  I will be following the same format as before. I will post a message here and a document outlining what to do each day. This time you have all picked up the learning packet so you have the photocopied sheets at home. I will let you know which sheets to complete each day and I may or may not add a few more activities in the document.  The learning websites are also still available for extra practice.

Have a great day at home today!  It is super cold outside so bundle up if you are venturing out for some fresh air and exercise today.
